Who this policy covers
This policy covers the website at tampalawnandpestcontrol.com and calls made to (813) 471-5363, the phone line run by Tampa Lawn and Pest Control, 1822 E Busch Blvd Unit 807, Tampa, FL 33612. It explains what we collect, why, and who sees it.
What this website collects
This site has no forms, no accounts and no sign-ups, so it does not ask you to type in your name, address or email.
Like most websites, the server that hosts this site keeps standard technical logs, such as the IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. Those logs are used to keep the site running and secure.
The site does not use advertising trackers and does not set its own cookies.
Third-party services on this site
Page fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers when a page opens.
The office map is not loaded until you press the View map button. When you do, the map is served by Google Maps, and Google's own privacy policy applies to that request.
Some guides link to outside sources such as UF/IFAS, the City of Tampa or Hillsborough County. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
What we collect when you call
When you call, we see the number you call from and we keep a note of what you tell us: your name, the service address, what you are seeing and when you want a visit.
Calls may be recorded for quality and training. If you would rather a call not be recorded, say so at the start of the call.
We use this information to schedule and carry out the work, to follow up afterward, and to answer questions about a past visit.
When a call is forwarded
If we are fully booked or cannot respond in time, your call may be forwarded to another pest control provider in the Tampa area. That provider receives your caller ID and anything you tell them on the call, and their own privacy practices apply to that information.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information.
We share it only where needed to do the work or meet the law: with the provider your call is forwarded to, with phone and scheduling services that help us run the business, with a title company, lender or realtor when you ask us to send them a WDO report, or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep service records for as long as they are useful for follow-up visits, termite monitoring and questions about past work, and as long as the law requires for pesticide application records.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete what we are not required to keep. Call (813) 471-5363 and we will help.
Children
This website is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
